Suranne Jones

Sarah Anne Jones (also known as Suranne Jones) is an English actress and producer. Suranne Jones, an actor and producer from the UK. She gained fame playing Ruth Slater, the detective in a police procedural "Scott & Bailey', as well as Gemma Foster, the GP in a medical drama 'Doctor Foster.' The actress is originally from Chadderton, Greater Manchester, Jones was a member of the Oldham Theatre Workshop and received her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts from there. When she was just eight when she started acting, Jones was cast in a production called "Wait Till Dark. She was Gloria.
