Some of the most terrifying stories could be hidden behind a glittering list of accomplishments. Lolo jones, the champion of the USA and World the hurdle championships, achieved the status he has achieved after years of hard work and incredible patience. Born to a single mother with five children, Jones had a difficult and a squatter's childhood. Her mother lived along the street and was even living within the basement of a local church at times. Jones' nomadic lifestyle made her change school every year up to high school. Jones was forced to move away from mother in Theodore Roosevelt School in order follow her passion for track. She lived at four different residences during her time at high school so that she could attend all of her classes in one location. Jones also played cello in the school orchestra.
